Hands across the sea

Rosaleen Agnew and Pauric Dunne in “Melody”A troupe from Northern Ireland has been in touch with FEATS with a view to making contact with English-speaking groups in continental Europe.

Lurig Drama Group recently won the 77th British Final Festival of One-Act Plays with their production of Melody by Deirdre Kinahan.

FEATS rules exclude UK-based groups from entering the FEATS festival; nevertheless, there may be other opportunities for exchanging knowledge, ideas and experiences.

Angela Dodds, 1 September 1943-15 November 2009

Angela was honorary secretary to the FEATS steering committee for many years. She will be greatly missed by her family and by the FEATS community.

New FEATS Web site launched

It’s ten years since www.feats.org (as it was at the time) saw the light of day. In that time Web technology has changed considerably; but until now the Web site was still very much handcrafted, and didn’t take much advantage of the new possibilities. Now the Web site has had a facelift, under the bonnet as well as on the surface.
