Lurig Drama Group recently won the 77th British Final Festival of One-Act Plays with their production of Melody by Deirdre Kinahan. FEATS rules exclude UK-based groups from entering the FEATS festival; nevertheless, there may be other opportunities for exchanging knowledge, ideas and experiences. It’s ten years since www.feats.org (as it was at the time) saw the light of day. In that time Web technology has changed considerably; but until now the Web site was still very much handcrafted, and didn’t take much advantage of the new possibilities. Now the Web site has had a facelift, under the bonnet as well as on the surface. |

DAW – the Drama Association of Wales – announces its brand new Web site. It has news, views, information on the services provided by DAW, and notices of future events in the DAW calendar.
The nightmare of sound engineers: the CD skips, the CD player has gone to sleep and “forgotten” the cued-up track, or your stab at a fiddly Play button in the semi-darkness misses its target.
Following the suggestion made during the Fringe in Brussels, a FEATS Facebook group has been set up.
